How to Play The Daily Challenge
Welcome to the Daily Challenge! Every 24 hours, everyone gets the exact same 5-letter word puzzle. Can you solve it in fewer turns than your friends?
- Objective: Guess the hidden 5-letter word in 6 tries or less.
- Input: Type any valid 5-letter English word and press Enter to submit.
- Feedback: After each guess, the color of the tiles will change to show how close your guess was to the word.
Green means the letter is in the word and in the correct spot.
Yellow means the letter is in the word but in the wrong spot.
Grey means the letter is not in the word at all.

When does the puzzle reset?
The puzzle resets every day at midnight. Make sure to complete your challenge before the day is over to maintain your streak!
What happens if I enter an invalid word?
If your word is too short or not in our dictionary, the row will shake and flash red. This means you need to try a different word. Don't worry, it won't count as one of your guesses!
Can I play again if I lose?
You only get one shot at the Daily Challenge! If you lose, you can still play our Unlimited Classic Wordle mode while you wait for tomorrow's puzzle.
